THE ROBOCON FLASHBACK.
The ABU Robocon is Asia-Pacific's most renowned stage for avid college roboteers. CSD Robocon NITK aims to win the ABU Robocon Grand Prix.
The credit for sparking interest in robotics goes to people at CSD Robocon NITK (CRN).
During the middle of my freshman year, CRN announced its recruitment. Clearing the screening test, assignments, and technical round, I was finally part of the team.
As the team was healing from the knowledge gaps caused by the COVID-19 lockdown, I was led to work in an environment where everything would be developed from scratch; this led me to create an opportunity to reverse-engineer previous teams' designs and tech.
It has been two years of being a part of CRN, and I have gained experience in a variety of works, ranging from Mechanical and Media design to Public Relations and Fund Raising.

SEASON 2024.
The competition was hosted by Vietnam, and the theme revolved around traditional rice harvesting methods. Two robots were designed to perform seedling pick & plantation, harvesting and storage of harvest.
SEASON 2023.
The competition was hosted by Cambodia, and the task was to pick and shoot flexible rings into fixed poles in the arena. Watch our robot work!
